Transmission Dynamics, in partnership with Motiva Trilhos, has delivered the first deployment of its PANDAS-V® overhead line monitoring system in Brazil, supporting ViaMobilidade Lines 8-Diamante and 9-Esmeralda in São Paulo.
PANDAS-V® is the first AI-driven overhead line monitoring solution of its kind to be deployed in Brazil. The system provides automated reports, instant alerts, and predictive insights that enable maintenance teams to detect emerging issues early, improve operational reliability and reduce the risk of service-impacting failures.
“We are proud to see PANDAS-V® operating in Brazil and supporting ViaMobilidade as they strengthen their predictive maintenance capabilities”, said Jarek Rosinski, Executive Chairman and Founder of Transmission Dynamics. “Our goal at Transmission Dynamics has always been to deliver cutting-edge technology that empowers operators with precise, real-time insights, enabling safer, more reliable, and more efficient networks. Partnering with ViaMobilidade on this pioneering implementation demonstrates the transformative impact that advanced analytics and AI can have on rail operations worldwide.”
The implementation of PANDAS-V® forms part of Motiva Trilhos’ wider strategic plan to expand process digitalisation and the use of predictive monitoring technologies across the operations under its management. The success of the installation on Lines 8 and 9 is expected to pave the way for full rollout across other networks within the group, including Lines 4-Amarela, 5-Lilás, and Metrô Bahia, strengthening intelligent monitoring of all overhead lines operated by the company.
“The adoption of PANDAS-V® reinforces the company’s commitment to continuously investing in technological solutions that raise the standard of operational reliability. Our goal is to anticipate potential occurrences and act preventively, ensuring greater regularity and safety in the transport of our customers,” says André Costa, Director of ViaMobilidade – Lines 8 and 9.
